I love couples gifts and the things that say "Mr" and "Mrs" on them. I just think they are adorable. Well, of course, it`s no wonder I fell in love with these aprons instantly!
First off, this company got off to a good start with the packaging. They arrived in a nice white box - sort of reminded me of something you would get from a small boutique. I just thought it was an elegant way of packaging their product rather than just tossing it in a box and sending it. So it`s pretty much ready to be wrapped and given as a gift. Once you open the box, you will notice that each apron is individually packaged in its` own plastic bag. This just ensures it arrives safely, not damaged during transit and shows it is brand new and never been worn.
Once I got over the lovely packaging, the second thing that stood out about these aprons compared to others is the quality. These are not cheaply/poorly made. They are well sewn, stitched, and constructed. There were no loose threads or any signs of the seams coming undone. Plus, the aprons are made of a pretty thick material - not thin and flimsy stuff. I love that these aprons also have adjustable neck straps so they will fit most (if not all) people. I`m on the petite side and my husband is on the taller side. We were both able to comfortable wear our aprons. We were able to adjust them to fit our body without them looking awkward.
After testing out the aprons to make a batch of homemade oatmeal cookies (that we got the mix as a Christmas gift -
thanks, family!), I figured I`d toss the aprons in the wash to clean them and just see how well they would hold up. There were no issues. They laundered well. The images and wording did not show any signs of coming off or cracking. Of course, I was pretty impressed.
Needlress to say, my husband and I had a positive experience with these aprons and we can both say we would certainly recommend them as a gift for any couple; especially those who enjoy using their kitchen!
