I got this for my 9-year-old daughter, Sophia, who loves anything arts and crafts. This fashion design drawing table was perfect for her! See my first hand look in the above video to get my first impressions upon taking it out of its packaging. 

 

After fully testing this thing out, I have to say I am definitely impressed. It's meant for a pre-teen/older child type age so, of course, I was not expecting much as far as the quality goes. I honestly expected a cheap kids sort of toy. Well, I am happy to say I was definitely wrong about that. While it's not on what I would call a "professional" level, it is certainly a great beginner level product for those interested in fashion design. The table is light weight and I love the fact that it offers a small slot on the side to hold a few colored pencils and/or pens. Of course, to me, I really loved the sketchbook layout. I love the pre-drawn silouhettes and the side area allowing for color palette ideas and pattern ideas. I also love the fact that it comes with stickers! Hey, I may be 30, but I still think stickers are fun!

 

Overall, I find that the set as a whole is great. It's affordable, it has an attractive design, and is functional for a beginner interested in fashion or someone who simply just wants to have fun. Either way, this is definitely a great gift idea to consider for this holiday season and has made my list!
