The Flutterby Mascara Shield solves that age-old problem that just about every person who uses mascara experiences - mascara smudges on your upper and lower lids during mascara application. 

The product appeals to all ages.  It is a wonderful product for busy moms and professionals trying to get out the door in a hurry each morning, it's great for the 55+ group who, like me, are dealing with hooded eyelids, and, it is a terrific eye makeup accessory for those just learning to do their makeup. The easy to use Flutterby Mascara Shield:

I was sent a pack of the Flutterby Mascara Shields to check out for myself. You can see my first thoughts upon opening it in my "unpackaging" video (since it was already out the shipping box).

 

I love that these are lightweight and are easy to use. Because it is plastic, they are super easy to clean between uses. I also love that these come in a storage bag that is resealable to protect the shields between uses from dirt and dust. After making the (above) video, I went and gave the shield a try. I had no issues holding it and using it while applying my mascara. So that's a win! Plus, these are pretty affordable. While I don't think they are a "necessity," so to speak, I do think they are pretty handy and help make applying makeup a tad bit easier. No more having to clean up the excess mascara under the eye or excess eyeshadow. Ultimately, that means no more risking messing up your other makeup applications for messy eye clean up!

 

Needless to say, I believe this is a positive product that any beauty guru would appreciate!
