Valentine's Day is less than two weeks away. Do you celebrate it? What about for the kids? While my husband and I look at it as another "Hallmark Holiday" to make money, we still celebrate it. I mean, any excuse for chocolate is good enough for me! But we also like to give the kids a little something, too. It's just a tradition we each had growing up and we want to keep that tradition. But what if your kids aren't into hearts, pink, red, and flowers? What if they're more into Star Wars? Well, we have an idea...
Lighted cockpits! Audible firepower! Movable wings, gun turrets and more! Revell®’s innovative snap-together, lights-and-sound plastic model kits have returned with three new model kit vehicles from a galaxy far, far away. The kit series includes a new Rebel ship that will made its debut in the film as well as a classic Imperial cruiser and a four-legged Imperial walker – all ready for build.
Models range from $19.99 -$29.99 and are available at Toys R Us and Target.
The Revell Star Wars Snaptite ® Build and Play Cargo Walker model kit includes 45 fun and easy snap together pieces. As soon as it arrived I passed it along to my husband for him to put together and he was able to do so within just a couple of minutes. Once built, it looked like a toy just bought from the store rather than something that required building. I was pretty impressed! I mean, there were no tools or glue required for the assembly. It just all snapped into place! What's neat about this toy is the positionable Head, legs, and feet; which allow you to display your model in multiple battle poses! This thing even has battle action sounds and lighted command cockpit for display!
While this toy is light weight, it seems pretty durable considering these were snap-together pieces. Plus, it's pretty fun! The toy is under 12 inches tall and was a hit with both my 3-year-old and my 9-year-old. Plus, my husband liked it too! Overall, it's adorable, it clicks in with your creative side, and just an enjoyed toy that makes for a good gift!
