As I said, I grew up having similar stars in my room as a kid and to this day, I still love them. These are nice quality. I find they are well made and have a durable feel to it. I`ve seen many similar products in store, but most are cheaply made and feel flimsy. What I like about these is that they are a slight bit thicker (not really thick, but not flimsy thin) and seem to hold a glow a bit longer than other brands. By how long I could not tell you - like I said, it`s been years since I`ve had these. I love that the putty comes included so I was able to successfully attach them to our popcorn ceiling. I honestly did not expect them to stay, but it`s been about a week and they`re still up there and haven`t fell down yet. While they`re a bit thicker than other brands, they`re still light weight so even if they fall, you don`t have to worry about getting hurt. The points of the stars are rounded rather than pointed, which helps with any safety concerns as well.
Another thing I enjoyed was the various sizes. I mean, since when does space have all the same size stars?! My point exactly. I mean you can obviously tell they`re not "real" stars, but it gives it a much better effect in my opinion to have a variety of sizes up.
