You know what I hate? You're on the go and all of a sudden a button comes off your blouse or you're on the go and your nose all of a sudden starts getting runny, you itch a scab and it bleeds, and the list just goes on. Are you one of those people who seems to find themselves in this situation often? Then you may want to look into In A Pikle products – which are made specifically for times like these!
About In A Pikle
Some call it luck, we call it divine intervention. In 2004, we became neighbors living only a few doors down from each other and instantly… a friendship was born! Our kids were the same age, our husbands have the same “first” name, and we share the same (great) full time job….being a mom! In 2006, Tamara moved to beautiful Southern Utah and we longed to have something that would keep our long distance friendship alive. In 2007, Marianne surprised Tamara with an unexpected visit for her birthday along with a homemade gift. It was a unique “emergency kit” made out of a hot pad and some snack baggies! Tamara loved it! In fact, it wasn't long after that she called Marianne with the vision to make and sell these amazing little organizers to other busy moms like us! This adventure hasn't always been easy, but we've grown both personally and professionally— and, we have learned MANY things along the way. Life's Crazy and we find ourselves “In A Pikle” a lot, (we could tell you a few stories!) and this little organizer has helped us “Dill With It.” We hope you will try our product, love it enough to tell your friends about it and share your own “In A Pikle” Moments with us too! On occasion we award FREE products through our Facebook pages of customers who give us a public #PikleProps shout out on their social media accounts. How it works is you let the world know how your “Pikle” or “Bundle” saved the day on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter; use the hashtag #PikleProps and check back frequently to see if your moment is highlighted! It's that easy!!
I remember back in high school there was a girl who always had everything! If your skirt ripped, she had a mini sewing kit. If you needed to get some germs off your hands she had hand sanitized – the list could go on, but you get the idea. She had all these things, but they were scattered throughout her purse. These are things we don't typically bring with us because well who wants to carry a purse full of random junk more than they need to? Who cares if it's stuff you need, most purses just don't have the organizational room for it which is why these things get left before or for the mere fact we believe we won't need it.
I fell in love with my In A Pikle bag. I chose the BREAD & BUTTER PIKLE in Victoria Stripes bag for review and I fell in love with it the second I saw it! First off, it's a fashionable and attractive design. I got the starter kit, which is $46.99. However, you can get just the little bag and fill it with your own stuff for just $29.99 - not too bad!
The double buckles adds a contemporary look to match any purse or briefcase. The “Victoria Stripes Pikle” features a faux leather flap with black and white stripes cover and adjusts for more or less contents. Each strap attaches securely with a magnet closure. All the “In A Pikle” bags are easy to keep clean and this is no exception! The smooth faux leather flap and plastic coated cotton cover cleans off easily with a damp cloth. The “In A Pikle” bag is approximately 10? x 7? open and 3.5? when closed. This also includes the option to add a shoulder strap to turn this “Pikle” into a convenient cross body purse.
Here's what came in my starter pack:
- 1 - hand sanitizer pen
- 1 - spot remover pen
- 3 - individually wrapped antibacterial wipes
- 1 - credit card size mirror and floss combo
- 1 - pair of tweezers
- 1 - pair of fingernail clippers
- 2 - emery boards
- 1 - travel size sewing kit
- 1 - retractable mini scissors
- 1 - 24" tailor tape
- 3 - hair bands
- 5 - rubber bands
- 5 - bobby pins
- 5 - safety pins
- 5 - paper clips
- 1 - phillips head mini screw driver
- 1 - straight head mini screw driver
- 1 - mini pen
- 1 - "In A Pikle" sticky notepad
- 10 - adhesive bandages
- 1 - package travel tissues
- 1 - pill box
I think it's undeniable that – I love my bag and kit! The quality of the bag is wonderful. It's well made and holds up well. The contents of the bag are easy to find travel sized items that can be organized in your bag in whichever way you see fit. I chose to organize mine by: sewing supplies, Notes, Injury, Beauty, Office Supplies, Sanitizers and then have an extra storage bag. Even though the bag now appears bulky when opened, it buckled tightly closed so it looks like a small round bag – which easily fits inside of a standard sized purse or handbag. It is also still light weight so you don't have to worry about the extra added weight, which is a concern of mine since I have a bad shoulder/neck area from a car accident (someone slamming into the back of us).
I can't stress enough how wonderful this bag is and how simple the idea is. It's definitely a wonderful gift to give to new and expecting mothers or anybody really! The best part is all the items are easily replaceable whether you find other items that are more fit to your lifestyle or you choose to stick with the same type that the In a Pikle store include. I HIGHLY recommend the In a Pikle bag – You won't be disappointed!
Not a fan of the style I got? In A Pike has quite a few styles and designs to choose from!
