As you all know we homeschool in our household. I have a 9 year old daughter who is going into the 4th grade this year and a 3 year old son who I am starting to introduce to schooling this year. Of course, I had this still sitting in the package when my 3 year old son came in ready to play with the rocket before even seeing what the whole package was! Must be some really good packaging that appeals to kids!

 

Anyway, once I got the package out, setting it up was a breeze. Just insert the tube and that's it. Well, this is one we decided to actually do outside, not inside the house and the kids had a blast! I must admit, I actually had fun as well. It comes with two little rockets and an image of the sun and the moon for effect. You stomp on the launcher to launch the rockets. The harder you stomp on it, the higher it will go. Everyone had so much fun seeing who could get their rocket to go the highest!

 

Is this game fancy? Nope, not in the least bit. Was it a hit? O.M.G.; yes! Seriously. This was one of the best times the kids had outside and it's rather understandable. Of course, Jace, my 3 year old, had to learn the art of taking turns and not stealing other people's turns. The only real downside to this was that the hose arrived with "kinks" in it. The kinks are slowly working their way out as we play more, but it does affect the air flow to the rocket. So if the company could get a better hose or better way to package to avoid the kinks I think that would definitely make an improvement on this. Overall, we were very pleased, though, and had a lot of family fun together!
