With summer approaching that means bugs - YUCK! So I found an absolute must have item for my home: the mafiti electronic bug zapper from Amazon!
Unlike a traditional fly swatter, this one is electronic. It does not use batteries. Instead, it uses the type-c charger, which is included. So if you have an Android phone, this bug zapper will charge just fine on it. I find the charge time doesn't take very long and it holds the charge quite well.
Another cool feature of this is that it has an LED light. Just slide the switch to turn it on. It's not super bright, so do not expect to use it as a flashlight, but it does help see so you can swat and hit that bug a bit better.
One thing I have noticed with this bug zapper is that it gets the bugs a lot easier than other ones I have gotten from my local hardware store. That is because of the design. It does not use a three-layer protective net as others do. So you are able to get the bug the first time. However, with this feature be very careful. If you touch it, it will zap you. So definitely keep away from children and pets!
Additionally, this is super easy to use! You just hold the button on the handle to activate the bug zapper and it is ready to go. You will see the red light on the handle to indicate that it is ready to be used as the button is being pushed down.
This has become my favorite go-to bug zapper! It works great for any flies that slip in and even on the dreaded fruit fly! It is lightweight and well made as it is made with ABS Plastic and not brittle recycled plastic like other brands I have tried. It is comfortable to grip and hold.
With a simple move with the bug zapper! Any bug attacking you and your family will be zapped on the spot.
