I absolutely love animals and nature watching. I leave my blinds open throughout the day so I can enjoy the weather or animals as I go about my business. Of course, what about when it gets dark or those areas that are out of your sight range? I found an awesome game camera that works just for that (or for those who hunt, of course). You can grab the

This is the first game camera our household has owned. We live in a wooded area and while we see various animals during the day, I was curious as far as what I may see at night in my yard. Obviously, being in the yard myself the animals won't come out and if they did I wouldn't really be able to see and enjoy them anyway. While I keep referring to using the camera for animal watching, it's more commonly used for hunters so they can see where a good spot to hunt would be. However, since I am not a hunter I thought I would share my alternative view and use of the camera to show there is more to it than for hunting and even nature enthusiasts, such as myself, can enjoy the camera.
When my
outdoor game camera arrived I was thrilled to try it out. The camera already had the batteries in it and all I had to do was place them in. You can do this by removing the internal panel cover (no tools necessary), applying the batteries, and replacing the panel cover. To the opposite side of where the batteries go (on the left side) is where the camera monitor and controls are. For the most part, the camera is rather self-explanatory, however, it does come with easy to follow instructions. One thing to note is that the camera does not come with an SD card so having one on hand would be necessary or you should purchase one at the time of purchasing your camera in order to really use it. Once I had the SD card in place I was able to turn the camera on. There are 3 switch positions: off, test, and on. You have a menu option, record feature, snapshot feature, and even a replay feature. I was impressed with the quick speed of the camera for documenting movement. The fact that there are multiple displays and recording options available really makes sure you can see the surrounding area as you wish or need to.
One thing to note is how this game trail camera is waterproof. I really like the sturdy casing and the buckle-like closure that is easy to open and close, yet still secure to protect the batteries and camera settings. The camoflauge style of the camera as a whole makes it easy to blend in with the environment allowing the animals to go about their business without being disturbed in any way. Overall, the camera is quite impressive, compact in size, provides decent video footage, lightweight, and easy to use. This is a great camera for anyone into the outdoor lifestyle whether it be hunting or nature watching!
