Scooby, our dog, is a huge fan of treats of basically any sort. Of course, she does have her favorites. Some she gets excited about and others she simply takes because that's what she's being given and will just lay down with it looking seriously sad. It appears, however, that the Merrick Fresh Kisses Holiday Mint Dental Dog Treats from Chewy.com has made it on the "treats she gets excited about list."

 

One thing I can say is that I did not smell a strong or nasty odor from these treats. Some are awful smelling, but not these. These had little to no fragrance to me. I mean, I didn't go sniffing the bag, but opening the bag there was no bust of smell I guess is a better way to describe it. Also, because of the texture, these do not crumble or make crumbs when handing it to your dog. As soon as I gave the treat to Scooby, she had her tail wagging with excitement, took her treat, hopped on the couch, and inhaled it! She's a medium sized dog so I didn't expect it to last too long, but when I say she scarfed this thing down.... it absolutely did not last long at all! Now I didn't smell any mint to the treat, but again, I did not go sniffing the treats. I also didn't really notice much of a change in the way her breath smelled. Maybe it takes a few uses? Either way, Scooby enjoyed it and that was my main focus in getting these to begin with.
