I absolutely LOVE this idea as a parent. I have a 9-year-old and a 3-year-old so I'm used to various car seats and booster seats. My 3-year-old son will soon be outgrowing his regular car seat and will be moving on to a booster seat. What I love about this is that it makes it easier to transfer from car to car and it also makes traveling a lot more convenient. Rather than lugging a bulky booster seat, you now have this compact thing that will fit in a standard sized handbag! Plus, it's really not very heavy at all so no aching back! Not to mention the mifold website says you can fit three in a row in the back of a normal car and I can see that happening. It really is that small. 

 

As far as the quality goes, the seat seems well built. Plus, it is easy to use. There are two buttons on the bottom that when pressed release the sides so that you can adjust them to your child's leg width. Once you place it in the car you need to make sure the belt in back is not seated on as that goes behind your child. Strapping your child in is definitely an adult process. On each of the hip bars is a slot to place the seat belt through. The strap that goes behind your child has a clasp part that is not easily unhooked, however, seems pretty secure. The base of the seat is only about 1 inch so your child may be disappointed about the lack of being able to see out the window depending on how tall they are. 

 

Overall, I would not personally replace a standard booster seat with this, however, for those that travel a lot or move from vehicle to vehicle, this is a great option. Keep that in mind. However, this works perfectly for what it is made for, in my opinion. I keep mine on hand for those emergencies of needing to quickly transfer my son and just in case I need a backup booster. Ultimately, I reallly like it, though, and would honestly recommend checking it out to see if it would work for your needs.
