We have the standard broom, swiffer, and a basic floor mop. Of course, in our small home, they get shoved in a corner. We just have no where to put them. Well, this mop holder/organizer was a huge help! I was able to easily install this thing (well my husband did that part) and then place the broom, swiffer, mop, and even the dust pan on the rack. So no more random cleaning supply corner for me! It even came with it`s own screws needed for the installation.
So far, I find that this organizer is made of heavy duty plastic that has individual roller type nobs in each section so you would kinda snap in the broom or mop handles. They seem to work well and hold all the different sized handles well, too. It is easy to push the handle in and take it back out without any problem. Each end of a handle areas has a hook that can fold out and you can hook stuff on or keep it folded in and out of the way.
One thing to keep in mind is that smooth shaped handles tend to slide down, so rather than hanging with the floor cleaning end towards the bottom, hang it upside down. Otherwise it will gradually slip down and fall off. If you have, say, wooden or textured handles there will be no issue.
Overall, I really love this. It`s super handy and so much nicer than a corner of cleaning items. Plus it`s affordable. I believe this is well worth the investment!
