Scooby was super excited this month! Our medium, mixed, pup was too excited when she realized we got a little surprise for her this month. She got to try out the Newman's Own Organics Chicken & Rice Recipe Snack Sticks Dog Treats from chewy.com!

 

Of all of our pets, Scooby is the pickiest. She loves treats and to steal table food so her dry food habits are terrible. Luckily, she is not as picky when it comes to treats. She loves bones and wet canned food of all sorts so it was no surprise when I gave her this treat and she went absolutely NUTS! She gobbled the stick down pretty quickly. Unlike bones, this is a chewy sort of treat and sure didn't take long for her to get one stick chewed up. As the pet parent, I love how these are a healthier alternative to the typical "junk food" style treats we get her. So she's getting some nutritional value out of these because of the organic ingredients.
