I got to check this optical cable out for myself and I must admit, I'm impressed! First off, it is an amazing price for this item. So if you need one - get it! Then, of course, there's the amazing high quality braided cable cord. This means it is more durable and will last longer. There's less chance of it accidentally breaking or getting damaged. I love how when it arrived, it actually has a dust cover/cap on each end to help keep it protected when it's not in use. That's not something I'm used to seeing on cables and I love that they did that.
I chose to try this out on one of our sound bar systems (some brand from Best Buy hooked up to our smart TV for reference). I never realized how much of a difference a good cable could make. Once I switched the cable I had crisp, clear sound without any static or distortion. I was thoroughly impressed. Plus, it has a good bit of length at 6 feet. Needless to say, this is definitely worth the investment!
