I love trying new products, but really get excited about organic and natural products. So, of course, I was thrilled to learn about PON and getting a chance to try them!

 

Pure, Organic, Natural. These three simple words capture the essence of the PON product line. In the process of developing PON, we wanted to make sure that we are creating these products in a socially responsible manner while preserving our environment. We are proud to announce that PON products are one of the few products in the marketplace that have received both the USDA Certified Biobased Product label, as well as the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Certification, the international gold standard for non-animal tested consumer products.

PON sent me three of their products to try: Baby 2in1 Shampoo and Body Wash, Aloe Vera based Shampoo for All Hair Types, and their Aloe Vera Based Body Wash for Dry & Sensitive Skin.

 

I started with the baby shampoo for my 3 year old son. We were excited to find that it actually makes for a good bubble bath as well as a body wash and shampoo. So it could be more like a 3 in 1 type product if we are to be totally honest. The Mallow Shampoo and Body Wash that gently cleanses without stripping natural oil and moisture, leaving your baby’s skin and hair soft and smooth. The organic Swiss Alps Mallow plant extract helps soothe and calm sensitive skin, while macadamia oil moisturizes and strengthens skin's natural protective barrier. Made with no harsh chemicals or synthetic materials. After Jace, my son, finished with his bath, he looked and smelled clean. Also, there was no "funny" small to the wash either. I have tried naturaly products that had that awkward smell to it - not this one, though!

 

 

After my son had his bath I tried out the shampoo and body wash for my shower. Of course, I started off with the shampoo to get the hair washing out the way. Formulated for all hair types, this daily cleansing Artemisia Shampoo deeply purifies by removing dirt, oil, and product build up to restore hair to its healthiest state. The organic Swiss Alps Artemisia plant extract, helps rebalance the scalp to bring volume and body to your hair. Nourish your hair with Vitamin B5 for shinier, thicker, and stronger hair. I used it in the same way as I would my normal shampoo and found no issues with it. My hair had a nice clean feel to it - no sticky residue or greasy feeling. I just felt clean without the high fragrances of my previous shampoos.

 

 

Once I finished washing my hair I used the body wash. As I'm getting older I notice my skin is getting more sensitive, so I opted for the dry and sensitive wash. The organic Swiss Alps Linum plant extract, a natural antioxidant better known as flax fiber, relieves irritation from dry and sensitive skin. Sugarcane and sugar maple work together to moisturize and clear away dead skin cells, resulting in skin that appears fresher, smoother and younger. I was actually rather impressed with how well the body wash worked. Again, it was lightly fragranced where it was barely noticeable (in my opinion). I do prefer stronger scents, but keep in mind, fragrance-free or low fragrances are actually better if you have sensitive skin. It served its purpose, though, as my skin felt soft and very clean after I was done using it. 

 

Needless to say, the three products we received from this brand were definitely some nice ones. They worked great and just as they are described. There's no special way of using them - just the same way you would any other bath type product. Aside from nice quality products, I am even more thrilled with PON as I discovered they are cruelty-free. PON has a strict no animal testing policy on all their products. They adhere to the Leaping Bunny Corporate Standard of Compassion for Animals and all their products are developed in an animal free and cruelty free environment. So this makes me seriously love the company as I am a huge animal lover. Obviously, we would definitely recommend giving PON a try if you haven't already!
