Scooby, our dog, is always looking for a treat of some type. Whether it is a bone or a can of wet food - she wants it. Well, she got a lovely surprise in! She got to try out the Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Lamb & Brown Rice Formula Canned Dog Food from Chewy.com. I use wet food as a treat rather than the main meal so while it says food, it was considered a treat for Scooby.

 

Now I have to start off with the negative about this product, but hang in there, I promise it gets better. To start off, this can does not have a pop-top. Meaning, you have to use a can opener to get it opened. It is also a pate style food so you will need to scoop it out to really get it out. The worst of it all, though, is how bad it smells. It has a strong odor. So I was very skeptical of this particular food. However, Scooby absolutely LOVED it. She ate this stuff so fast you would have thought she hadn't eaten in days! I'm guessing that means it tastes amazing.

 

So while I'm not a fan of the smell or the difficult opening process, it was all worth it in the end because Scooby went crazy for it. Because of this, I definitely recommend it and most certainly plan on purchasing it again in the future!
