As someone who enjoys essential oils and making homemade goodies, I always get excited whenever I hear from Simply Earth about trying some new products.
Just recently, I had a chance to try out
Simply Earth. I'm not sure if any of you have heard of them, but I'm pretty excited! Simply Earth was created to make having a natural home fun and easy at honest prices. Here is their story:
Every idea starts with a problem. For us, it was katie’s stinky feet. The only solutions we could find were chemical laden products. We did the research and found a blend of oils that would naturally eliminate the odor. When sourcing quality and pure oils in bulk, we found out they didn’t have to be so expensive. We were tired of overpaying for essential oils and having to go to parties to actually buy them. We were frustrated by using natural products that didn’t always work. When we asked around, we learned lots of women were upset about the situation too, so we decided to do something about it. We started Simply Earth to help make your home natural. We loved making our own natural products and knowing what was in them, so we created . With the essential Oil recipe box, you get everything you need to make your home natural; easy and fun recipes to follow, honest prices, and products that work. It puts you in charge and you can enjoy time together making natural recipes with friends and family.

I can totally relate to the Simply Earth Story and I love hearing about it. So I was beyond excited to try the
Simply Earth Essential Oil Monthly Recipe Box! Each box is $100+ value compared to the big essential oil companies. Plus, you get a FREE Big Bonus Box your first month when you subscribe. Every box includes all the essential oils and toxin-free ingredients you need to make 6 natural recipes. Every recipe is crafted, tested, and loved by the Simply Earth team of certified Aromatherapists.
The December box I received was amazing! In mine, I received:
My recipe cards were for:
- Organic Grove Exfoliating Soap
- Winter Sunshine Diffuser Blend
- Calming Orange Grove Roll-On
- Winter Skin Protection Balm
- Soap Jellies
- Cocoa Marble Soap
Not a bad variety for sun a small box if you ask me!
Immediately, the first thing I tried was the Winter Sunshine
diffuser blend. This was just adding some of the oils to my diffuser and enjoying the aroma that it put out into the air. This consists of a blend of the Winter Spice Essential Oil Blend, Bergamot Essential Oil, and some Cinnamon Essential Oil. You just add the instructed number of drops to the water in the diffuser and that's it!
While having the diffuser go, I went ahead and made the Orange Grove Exfoliating Soap. This recipe called for using the goat milk soap base, Cedarwood Essential Oil,
Orange Essential Oil, and dried orange slices. The only thing it didn't come with was the double boiler, but I already had that. If you don't have one, just use two pots together instead (there are tons of YouTube videos if you need help with this). The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I love how everything is clearly labeled. In a matter of minutes, I had my mixture melted down and poured into my included soap mold. I'm actually surprised by how well it turned out and that it smells really nice! I keep my soap by my kitchen sink and love the fresh smell I get every time I use it!
Next on my project list will be either the Calming Orange Grove Roll-On or the Winter Skin Protection Balm - I haven't quite decided which one I am doing just yet!
Aside from having fun trying some new homemade recipes, I was quite pleased to find out the quality of the essential oils and the soap base were very nice. I didn't expect any less after my first experience, but it was still pleasing nonetheless. The aroma from the oils when in the diffuser smells lovely as well and of nice quality. You can tell the difference between cheaper brands and quality brands and I would personally put this one on the higher end of the spectrum. Simply Earth is definitely worth the investment and I certainly will be back to shop for more from them in the future!
