Seriously, this is the best lemon squeezer I have come across. Why? Well, it is bulkier than others I have used, which is a downfall, however, the fact it makes virtually no mess is a huge plus for me. I tried this out on an old lemon that I was saving to use to make my own homemade household cleaner. So my experience may be a slight bit more difficult than those with normal citrus that are not getting tough and hard. With that said, I found cutting the lemon to be pretty rough. If you watch my video, it took some effort for me to cut half way through it. I don`t consider myself a strong person, just an average house wife. Again, this was a more difficult to cut lemon because it was hardening which definitely played a factor in my experience. As far as what really stood out to me was not how well built this squeezer was. Yes, it`s a nice sturdy plastic that is easy to clean, but when using it there was no mess (except for the part where I forgot to put a cup or bowl under it when testing it for the first time in my video)! Most squeezers when you use them, they squirt all over the place - from the sides, under it, etc. With this one, the juice only comes through the bottom hole - no where else. That right there is what blew my mind and made me decide this was the best squeezer I had ever used. When I was done, I simply rinsed it off with some warm soapy water and called it a day. The Squissors Squeezer is easy to clean, has a lovely lime green color (which I love) and it works amazingly well. The blade is sharp and will give a nice clean cut. Luckily it comes with a cover for your safety to keep on it between uses. Overall, I am very pleased with the Squissors and can honestly say I would recommend it.
