About Startlight Baby

Starlight Baby was launched in May 2016 by co-founders James and April McAllister, and is currently based out of Belllingham, Washington. We sincerely believe there is nothing more important in life than spending time with those you love, and the relationships parents share with their children is unlike any other. However, raising children can be tough. Humans are pretty complex creatures, and there is no job quite like parenting. We want to make that job easier. However, we’re not just satisfied with making money – we want to make a difference at the same time.

Unfortunately my children are 3 and 9 years old so they're too old for any product from this shop. However, I have a friend who is currently expecting that I intend to give this little outfit to.

This particular piece is unisex; which means it would work for either a boy or girl. For a girl, I think it'd be perfect with a little tutu. For a boy, I think a pair or jeans or jean shorts would be absolutely adorable. The bodysuit itself is high quality, well made and uses a 3 snap bottom for closure. I was impressed with the quality of the graphic writing. There was no lines, creases or wrinkles in it. Also, there were no loose threads on the suit either. I can tell from experience that the sizing is accurate as well. I ordered the 0-3 month size for my friend and it fit true to the size. All 0-3 months fit one of my teddy bears well (as you can see in the above photo).

I personally love that the bodysuits from Starlight Baby are made from 100% boutique quality cotton. I also love that they are made and inspected in the USA. I love supporting USA based businesses since it's hard to find good ones these days. 

Overall I think Starlight Baby is an adorable little shop. They have a bunch of cute designs to choose from as well. They would be perfect for a gift for a new/expecting parent!
