While this toy is suggested for ages 5 years and up, my 10-year-old daughter has a lot of fun building and helping her 4-year-old brother build as well! They literally sat at the table for hours playing with this! This is great for her critical thinking skills and his hand-eye coordination skills. The pieces are well made and because they're plastic, they're easy to wipe down and clean between uses or in the event it gets dirty. It even comes with cards to help you on your building journey. The pieces easily snap together, but aren't difficult to take apart, yet they stay in place. The kids find it fun and don't even realize they're stimulating their brain while playing!

I got the rooster rattle and this thing is super adorable! I have a friend who is about to give birth soon and this is the perfect gift for or little one. This rattle is safe starting at birth. There are no loose threads, beaded eyes, etc. It's very well made, has a small grip handle and is absolutely adorable! I love how it has sounds and music. When my children were infants, anything with sound was a winner for both of them. Plus, the multiple textures are very stimulating for infants. From my experience, rattles like this definitely keep your baby entertained for hours! It's small enough to keep in the diaper bag or your purse while running errands as well. There's even a little plastic hook so you can easily attach it to the top of a carrier as well! Ultimately, the toy is adorable, functional, and babies love things like this!
