About this product:
The concept of this big kid’s ride-on motorcycle is based on the race motorcycles used on the Motor GP circuit. Every feature, including the headlamp, turn lights, tail lights, wheels with the brake system, advanced engine in the center, and realistic exhaust, is meticulously duplicated in the appearance. Your little adventurer can have a safe and entertaining ride with two auxiliary wheels, speed adjustment, and a gentle starting. Aside from high-speed mode, your child could also enjoy a moderate trip while listening to music via the built-in audio system. At the same time, it will make you a cool parent.
- Back and forward button, non-slip pedal& auxiliary wheels
- Push-stop button, soft-starting technology& spring suspension system
- Built-in music, music player, early childhood story, USB, SD Slot design
- Strong power, long battery life& easy to assemble
As soon as the bike arrived we got to work. The motorbike does require some assembly. I let my husband do that part and he was able to get the bike together in roughly 20 minutes give or take. It comes with everything you need to get it together so no additional tools were needed. Once together, we allowed it to fully charge before giving it a go.
The bike weighs roughly 33 pounds and can support the weight of a child, up to 77 pounds. I like that this comes with "training wheels" to help assist new riders in getting comfortable with the bike. These are removable and not needed to ride the bike.
My son is 7 years of age and thought his new motorcycle was the absolute coolest thing ever and couldn't wait to go outside and try it out. The bike does not go fast at all. It is meant for the smaller kids as it goes only 1.9-4.3 mph. You can choose to go either slow (1.9 mph) or fast (4.3mph) with the switch of a button on the bike. This is fine with me considering my son is learning how to balance the bike and riding it without stopping. It also allows you to go forward or backward with the switch of a button.
We chose not to use the training wheels for him since he wanted to be a big boy and learn without it. He has never had a motorcycle before but can ride a bike without training wheels just for reference as the skills go. After some practice, he started to improve and the more he goes the better he gets, of course.
He even opted to let the kids next door take a turn who are about the same age as him and they loved it as well! The same thing - took a little getting used to before learning how to balance, but not that long of a learning curve.
One feature my son really loves with the bike is the music option. You can actually have real music playing while riding! You can play the radio or from your own music source, which is pretty neat if you ask me!
Needless to say, this bike has been a game changer for our summer! My son loves it and his friends love it. It's easy to use and certainly age-appropriate. Not to mention, the price isn't bad either! Highly recommended!
