I was too excited to have a chance to check out this air pump. Unlike others I have seen, this one is just as it is described. It is lightweight. It is portable. It is definitely easy to use. The fact that it not only inflates, but deflates, is a great feature to have. Additionally, the design is quite attractive as well.  Just take a look at my unboxing and brief demo video below:

 

 

As stated in my video, the output of the air pump is quite impressive for such a small size. The air pump does use four AA batteries which allow for about 20 minutes of use or you can get about 40 minutes of use if you use the NIMH batteries. I recommend investing in the NIMH batteries as they are rechargeable and last longer. 

 

Also, as you can see how the pump is very compact in size, as described. I have rather small hands and this device most certainly fit in the palm of my hand without any issues. 

 

While it may take a bit longer to inflate certain items, it definitely does the job and works quite well. I suggest using it for smaller tasks such as beach balls and pool inflatables. No need for an electrical cord, although it would be nice to have as an option in the event batteries are unavailable, but the fact you do not need electricity or a car charge port to use this makes this perfect for traveling or on the go. Keep it in your bag, car, etc - the small size will ensure it's not in your way when not in use. 

 

Overall, the Tropo Air Pump is a unique and amazing little device that works great and as described. The fun colors and simple design makes this item a must have for those always on the go!
