Dogs deserve the best food they can get, especially the ones which are still growing. This is one of the great

To prepare this nutritiously delicious food, simply defrost it and serve it. Each recipe is grain-free and has only one source of protein, so it’s perfect for pets with sensitive tummies or allergies. In Tylee’s Chicken Recipe you will find real USDA-grade chicken plus apples, spinach and carrots that are full of fiber, antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals to help keep your pal in top shape. Ingredients like flaxseed and sunflower oil offer alternative sources of omega-3 and 6 for a healthy coat. This is part 1 of a 3 part post. We agreed, with Chewy, to try out Tylee`s Chicken Recipe Human-Grade Frozen Dog Food for Scooby for 1 month to see how it goes for her and our family. Scooby is roughly around 25-30 pounds, give or take, and we notice she doesn’t eat a lot of dry dog food and is very picky about her wet food as well. Mostly, this is because of my children. They are ages 8 and 2 and will leave food on the table, drop stuff on the floor, etc. So Scooby has become accustomed to “table food” despite our efforts of not purposely giving it to her. So for her wet canned food, she doesn’t want the pate stuff, she likes the one that looks like a roasted stew that has some vegetables in it. For the dry dog food, we’ve tried different brands. She generally will sniff it when I put it out, and walk away. She will eventually eat it... one she gets desperate. You get the idea... She’s so darn picky and as a pet parent, it`s frustrating! Well, one thing we hadn`t tried was frozen/fresh refrigerated types of food. It`s pretty pricey for us and to get it just for her not to eat it was a concern for us. Since the opportunity came about to try this brand I figured what do we have to lose?! When it arrived it was frozen. I followed the instructions and allowed it to thaw out in the refrigerator for a day before letting her try it. It was still chilled when I first showed it to her and she just sniffed it, but wouldn`t try it. I was thinking maybe she wasn`t going to like it?! I can`t just let it sit out to get to room temperature because of all the cats; who were already eagerly awaiting to see what I had. So I put in the microwave for roughly 1-1.5 minutes so it was more at room temperature/slightly warm. She likes to take table food so I figured that`d be perfect. Well, that did it. I put it down, she put her nose all the way in the bowl, sniffed and began eating. I turned around for literally two seconds and the bowl was licked clean. I think it`s safe to say she likes it! We`ll be trying this food out for the next 30 days so keep an eye out for our next post planned for next week. The bag I have is only good for 10 days once it is thawed out so I`ll let you guys knows how it goes and if I notice any changes! By the way, if you choose to try this brand food off Chewy.com, be sure to get the subscribe and save option where you can save some money! You can cancel the subscription any time or extend or shorten the delivery dates as often as you need! No hassle at all and their customer service is so friendly! Get on just to chat with them about your pet and they talk to you and make you feel like they truly care about them as well. With the lack of customer service these days this is certainly a heart-felt type thing.
