Will Roya, the owner of PlayingCardDecks.com, started his company because of his love for magic. He became a professional magician at the age of 16, performing at local restaurants, ski resorts, and private parties. After college studies in theater and business, he and his wife moved from Vermont to Nevada, where he continued his magic career, performing in Las Vegas and on cruise ships. Roya often contributes to funding decks on Kickstarter and also creates custom decks of playing cards himself. Roya has produced numerous decks himself and has collaborated on a number of projects run by others.

 

My husband is really BIG into magic and can do some pretty good card tricks. So while I'm all about cool-looking cards, my husband is the one I got these for so he could really enhance his magic tricks. I mean, regular cards are fine to play with and all, but if you enjoy playing cards and doing magic, why not level up and get some uniquely styled cards? If anything, they will definitely make you stand out! 

 

I received two decks to personally check out: Bicycle Monster Premium Playing Cards (a $9.99 Value) and the Circus Limited Edition Nostalgic Playing Cards (a $9.99 Value). I love that each set is unique in design as far as the graphics are concerned, yet, still the same familiar card as far as the cards included and styling of the numbers/letters/suit (still 2 different colors, still display A, K, Q, J, 10, etc.) The cards have a nice premium quality feel to them and not a cheap paper-like texture as I have experienced with other cards. They are also the same standard size - not smaller or bigger, but the same standard familiar card size you are already used to.

 

While these are not the cheapest cards on the market, they definitely prove you get what you pay for. Amazing quality and definitely well worth the investment!
