Scooby, our resident "cat dog" (dog who thinks she is a cat), was quite surprised this month when she had a chance to try out the new Zignature Turkey Limited Ingredient Formula Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. While I don't know how long this stuff has been around for, this was the first time we have heard of it and Scooby's first time trying it. With that said, I think Scooby likes it!

 

This is a hard dry food with no foul odor to it (that I noticed anyway). As soon as I poured it Scooby was curious, as were the cats in our house. At first, it appeared that Scooby wasn't going to actually eat the food. After a few minutes of me walking away, though, she began actually eating it and she has been eating it since we got it in. As a pet parent, I love that the main ingredient in this is turkey, which means it is healthier than other alternative dry foods on the market. As for Scooby, she definitely appears to like the food. She's been eating it regularly and I have not seen any negative changes in her looks, behavior, or fecal matter (which, as gross as it is, can indicate a lot about your pet's health). While the price is a bit higher than other dog foods on the market, the higher-quality ingredients definitely makes it worth it; especially with Scooby actually enjoying the food!
