As a stay at home mom, earning money while keeping up with all the demands and responsibilities of being a mother can be a bit of challenge. A few months back, I read about survey sites. These sites reward you (usually in cash!) for sharing your opinions. Things looked promising. Among the sites that other reviewers were recommending, GrabPoints was one name that kept popping up.

Needless to say, my curiosity was piqued. I dove right in and registered for a GrabPoints account. I’ve been using GrabPoints for a few months, so I’d like to think I can give you an honest review of the site. There are lots of GrabPoints reviews out there, but this one will be written from my perspective, or that of a full-time, stay at home mom. Hopefully, fellow moms find this GrabPoints review useful!

GrabPoints: Overview

Like I mentioned a while ago, GrabPoints is a survey site. Companies hire GrabPoints to conduct surveys among its members. These surveys are used for market research. These companies want to know what certain segments of the market are into, to help them improve their businesses. For example, a company might want to know what us moms look for in a diaper brand - so GrabPoints sends out surveys to qualified members (i.e. in the USA). 

While GrabPoints is called a survey site, the truth is there are so many more earning methods on this site. In addition to answering surveys, you can also earn by watching videos, completing offers, playing games, and testing apps.

Whenever you finish a task, a certain number of points are credited to your account. You can later redeem these points as cash, or a wide variety of gift cards. GrabPoints usually works with large companies, and that enables them to give members the highest earnings (I’ll be talking about earnings in a bit – hang in there).

GrabPoints why is it good for us moms?

Simple: convenience. Being stay at home moms doesn’t necessarily mean we have lots of free time. In fact, I would argue that I have the same amount (probably more!) of tasks and responsibilities as my husband Eric.

Between helping kids with their homework, shuttling them to and from soccer practice, and all the other duties I need to attend do, there isn’t a whole lot of time for me to earn.

But GrabPoints changes all that. I can easily answer surveys or play games while waiting on my kids. I can watch videos while doing the laundry. GrabPoints easily fits into the stay at home mom lifestyle. It’s so convenient to use – and it pays well, to boot.

Now that I gave you an overview of GrabPoints, let’s discuss their individual earning methods.

How do You Earn on GrabPoints?

You earn points for doing a variety of activities, the most common of which will be answering surveys. You can then trade these points for cash or other rewards. Let’s check out each method in greater detail:

1. Answering Surveys

GrabPoints has both a survey wall (where you answer surveys on-site) and a survey router (which connects you to surveys on other sites). The surveys that are available to you will depend on your demographic. For example, as a full-time mom, surveys that cover outdoor gear may not be assigned to me. 

2. Watching Videos

GrabPoints has a bunch of video channels that cover different topics. You get points whenever you complete watching videos. This is one of my favorite earning methods because it’s passive; I can keep the channel playing while I get my kids ready for school.

3. Completing Offers

You earn points whenever you sign up for offers (usually trial subscriptions) from partner companies. You can always choose to cancel your subscription before the free trial period ends.

4. Downloading Apps

GrabPoints will reward you with points whenever you download apps from their partner developers. Take note, you might have to keep the app on your device for a certain period of time before you get your points.

How do You Get Your Earnings?

You can withdraw your earnings when you’ve earned a minimum of 3,000 points (equivalent to $3). You can request a payout as cash (which you will receive via PayPal) or as a gift card (which will be sent to you via email).

There are so many gift card options on GrabPoints! As a frequent shopper, this thrills me to no end… and my kids could make use of these gift cards, too. Here are just some of their gift card options:

And that isn’t even the greatest thing about GrabPoints. The greatest thing about them is that they’re the highest-paying survey site in the world... and they process payments within 48 hours!

Is GrabPoints Better than Other Survey Sites?

A quick Google search for survey sites will show hundreds, maybe even thousands,  of results. So competition is definitely fierce in the survey site scene. Even with all those other sites, I still think GrabPoints is head and shoulders above the rest. How? Three reasons:

1. They’re the highest-paying rewards site in the world!

The site has a handy chart comparing earnings on their site with earnings on competing sites. And the numbers don’t lie: no other survey site pays better than GrabPoints. I can personally confirm this.

My GrabPoints earnings won’t pay for my kids’ college funds. And that’s perfectly fine...  in fact, I appreciate that they don’t over promise or try to package this as a get-rich scheme. My earnings were enough to cover some basic necessities or the occasional splurge for my kids. And that’s okay.

2. Blazing-fast payment processing!

As soon as I reached the minimum withdrawal threshold, processing of my payouts was super-fast. I usually got my earnings within 48 hours! That is so awesome. I’ve heard other survey sites could take longer – up to weeks, even – to process payments. 

3. They’ve got lots of gift card options

Cash payouts are always nice – you can’t beat free PayPal money, right? But I personally prefer gift cards. Gift cards make shopping easier for me, and I’m sure other moms would agree. On GrabPoints, I can withdraw my earnings as an Amazon gift card, Walmart gift card, or any one of their dozens of other options.

My Conclusion

GrabPoints is legit! If you’re a busy, full-time mom, using GrabPoints is a great way to earn!
