Nothing feels better than taking a deep breath and inhaling your favorite scent.
Whether it`s warm and sweet brown sugar, fruity and crisp Macintosh apple, floral and soothing lilac mist or another one of your favorite scents, our new fragrance oils are a great way to brighten any day. Fragrance oils are artificially created to mimic the aroma of natural plants and flowers and often have a stronger scent than essential oils. They are a popular choice among hobbyists and craft-lovers who want to add a prominent fragrance to projects such as candle-making, soap-making, perfumery and other toiletries. But these oils are versatile and smell so divine that even if you`re not feeling too crafty, there are some simple and easy ways to use them. Here are five of our favorite ways to use fragrance oils:
Perfume Oil
Add 5-10 drops of your preferred fragrance oil to 1/3 oz. fractionated coconut oil in a roll-on vial and shake contents well. Allow the mixture to sit overnight, then dab on perfume as needed.
Massage Oil
Combine 15 drops of your favorite fragrance to 4 oz. of carrier oil. Blend fully and then use for aromatherapy and massage practices.
Dryer Sheets
Apply 5 drops of fragrance oil to unscented dryer sheets and allow the oil to dry completely. Use the dryer sheets as you normally would to add your favorite scent to your load of laundry or place the sheets in drawers, gym bags, shoes, or linen closets - any place that you want to freshen the scent of.
Letters and cards
Add a drop of your favorite scent to a letter or a greeting card (avoid the ink!), and your kind handwritten gesture will become even more personalized and memorable.
Body Spray
Combine ½ cup of witch hazel with 1 cup of distilled water and 10-20 drops of your preferred fragrance in a spray bottle. Shake the contents well and allow it to rest for a fully day before use. Shake well before each use and use as a perfume/body spray.
