Since cocoa as a drink was first prepared in Mexico its fitting to bring a little south-of-the-border flavor to our hot cocoa line. Mexican chocolates are known for the different spices like cinnamon and chiles that are added to them to create intense tastes. Those flavors make this gourmet hot chocolate unlike anything you`ve tasted before. So grab life by the horns and sip something new. I love drinking hot chocolate during the winter season, but I`m generally pretty picky about it too. I usually go for the sweater types of hot chocolate with tons of marshmallows in it. Well, this one definitely proved to be different, yet delicious! First off, these fit conveniently into my standard Keurig machine. Each cocoa serving was individually packaged into a K-cup for a single use. Not to mention, none of the coffees were busted during shipment. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve order k-cups only for half of them to arrive busted or lots of loose coffee in my box. These arrived without any leaks or issues. The cocoa itself had a nice flavor to it. It wasn`t overpowering, yet it wasn`t a watered down flavor either like some brands have. In fact, it had a little "kick" to it. It has a sort of spice flavor that you will taste. In my family, I seemed to be the only one who really cared for it, but that`s okay - more for me! I seriously loved it and didn`t need to add any whipped cream or marshmallows to my drink. I loved it just as it was. Although, the whipped cream does help sweeten it a slight bit and cool it off for quicker drinking! I have tried other flavors from Brooklyn Bean Roastery as well and had the same satisfaction as I did with this product. I enjoy the consistency this company seems to have with high quality and well-flavored coffee. Based on my experience, they really take pride in their product and believe me, it shows. From the uniquely styled package to the quality, smooth flavor of their coffee and cocoa, this is definitely my favorite brand when it comes to coffee. Honestly, it even beats Starbucks in my opinion and it`s more reasonably priced! Needless to say, I highly recommend it!
