The fioboc is based on the bionic principle "lotus effect." Nano-raw materials are incorporated into the fabric fiber through Nano-interface super double dredging technology, thus formulating a layer of silica particles on the weave surface to form an isolation layer to simulate the microscopic nano-scale bulge of the lotus leaf surface. When common liquid molecules come into contact with clothing, like water beads on lotus leaves, they naturally slip off at a 165 °direction with the cloth.

 

Blended with bamboo fiber, long-staple cotton fiber, and Sorona fiber, there are considerable amounts of voids among the natural fiber structure making it superior in terms of hygroscopic properties. Compared with ordinary cotton, high-count yarn long-staple cotton has a longer fiber length, is more elastic, more durable, softer, and does not fade.

I received a shirt for both myself and my husband. I found that the sizing for these shirts are true to size and fit accurately.  So if you do choose to try the Fioboc Staingo Anti-Oil Stain Proof Waterproof T-shirt, you can order your regular size. Unless you want a little more room, then I recommend sizing up one size as these shirts have a more snug fit rather than a loose fit.I found my shirt was pretty comfortable to wear without any issues.

 

Now as far as the shirt being waterproof, I found that while water does bean and roll off, water can still get through. The same goes for any other liquids. However, I found that the drying time of the shirt is quicker than other fabric-type shirts and it isn't as saturated as other fabrics. If that makes sense.  This goes hand-in-hand with the staining.

 

So far, I have not had any issues with stains staying on the shirt. Wiping up any type of spill from the shirt is a much easier process than with other fabrics because it doesn't absorb through the shirt. Again, dampness will go through the fabric, but the stain itself doesn't seem to actually set into the fabric as it does with say my cotton shirts. I can easily contain and remove the stain from this shirt than I can with other materials I have used.

 

Overall this is an amazing quality shirt that works as it claims it does in my experience thus far. It's comfortable, breathable, and stain-resistant. This was definitely a win! My husband can't wait to give it a true test when he changes the oil in the cars!
