This is a super neat scale! I love the simplicity of the scale, yet the elegant appearance. You get both an analog and a digital display; which is what makes this scale so unique in comparison to others. It`s compact in size, thin, and light weight. These features make it easy to store between uses.
I really like that the unit goes in to a sleep mode when not in use and, like some bathroom scales, you simply have to tap it to turn it on. If you want to change from metric to imperial units, the means of doing so is on the bottom of the scale; which is nice as it keeps it from being hit accidentally. Of course, this can be a bit more difficult if you need to measure multiple items in multiple unit variations. The unit also wakes quickly and is ready for use immediately. does come with the three AAA batteries required to operate it; which is pretty nice.
I was pleased with how quickly the scale took the measurement reading and the display is easy to read. While I do wish the LCD screen would use LED lighting for an even easier read, this one is still nice and still clear to read. The surface of the scale is smooth and easy to clean when you`re done using it in the event you should drip ingredients on it.
