I really love the idea of this mat and how simple it is to use it. First off, it is a good decent size. There are 3 separate areas to put food/snacks in and is a decent height for the division. So you can have more than one sort of treat or foot on the mat at a time without it all combining together. Also, I love that it is made out of 100% food grade silicone and is also BPA and PVC free, containing no lead and phthalates, so it's also safe for your child to eat from. Not to mention, because of the silicone, it makes it sort of anti-slip so it won't move or push around the table as your child eats from it.  The mat is lightweight, though, so it is convenient for your child to pick up themselves if they are at that "helping" age and want to carry it to the kitchen sink to help out mommy or daddy. Plus, it's also dishwasher safe so it's easy and convenient to clean between uses.

I got this to let me 3-year-old son eat his snacks out of and he absolutely loves it! He gets a kick out of the cloud and sun designed cups of it. Needless to say, at the end of the day, we definitely recommend this mat!
