Scooby was super excited this month! Our medium, mixed, pup was too excited when she realized we got a little surprise for her this month. She got to try out theTaste of the Wild Wetlands Grain-Free Canned Dog Food from chewy.com!

 

Of all of our pets, Scooby is the pickiest. She loves treats and to steal table food so her dry food habits are terrible. Luckily, she is not as picky when it comes to treats. I have bought a few kinds of canned wet dog food in the past that she turned her nose up to, though, so I am always nervous as to what the results are going to be with her when it comes to even treats. Well, thankfully, this brand was an absolute hit with her! 

 

I love the easy pop tops to I can get it opened quickly. Once opened, the food appeared almost like human food - chunky and in nice gravy sauce. I love this style much better than the pate, as does Scooby. For me, pate is a pain in the tushy to get out the can and requires utensils to scoop it out. This particular style just pours right out into her bowl with no issues. As soon as I got it in the bowl Scooby could barely sit and wait. She was whimpering and shaking her butt from her tail wagging so hard. she then gobbled it down as if she hadn't eaten in months! By the time she was done I swear that bowl looked cleaner than when I wash it in the dishwasher! Needless to say, this was a HUGE hit with Scooby as well as me as the pet parent. It was easy to get out, no nasty odor, and the fact it is grain free is quite the bonus. We definitely can recommend this one - even to picky eaters!
