Are you getting married? Then you may be interested in learning about this new app called Wedbox – which is available for both iOS and Android phones. However, if you are on any other device, you can use the browser version and upload media or view it from there! So anyone can actually use this program.

Through Wedbox your guests can share their photos and videos from your big day. The app captures unique, different and amazing moments from the wedding – it's the wedding seen through the eyes of your guests. Guests can also capture longer videos, which is amazing for saving those speeches or other traditions that might happen during your wedding.

With Wedbox, you can decide who has access to the content – only the people you invite can share and see the photos and videos. But you can invite anyone you want, even guests who are not able to join the actual event, maybe due to illness or living abroad.

What’s really neat is that you can set up each section of your day prior to the wedding and Wedbox will automatically sort your pictures in the appropriate categories. Add categories like rehearsal dinner, church, reception, dinner, party and any other category that makes sense for you.

I’ve already had my wedding back in 2012, but I really wish this app was around or at least that I knew of it then. Normally you have to go and hunt people down for their photos and then sort it all out in order depending on what your plans are for the photos. Since I enjoy making scrapbooks, this app would have saved me a lot of time of just figuring out the order and what photos are from what.

The app is free for all before, during and after the event. They have different in-app purchases that you can choose to buy. If you want to download all pictures in the highest possible quality, it will cost you 20 Euro. Otherwise, you will be able to download pictures free of charge one by one in low quality. 

The files will be saved for 2 months after your wedding date. If you want longer hosting, you will need to purchase the 24 months hosting package.

So my final thought? The app is easy to use and is definitely a great feature to have an offer to your wedding guests. Although it’s free for basic use, I definitely recommend upgrading to a paid package to get the best photos possible from your wedding.
