Jace was just way too excited when he saw my unpackaging his brand new scooter. When the scooter arrived, it did require some basic assembly, however, I was able to do it without the help of my husband - which means it was super easy to do! The scooter is lightweight and well made. It's also sturdy and durable. I love that the handlebar is adjustable so Jace can grow with the scooter for a couple years (he is 3-years-old and it is recommended to be used up to 5-years of age) and not have to necessarily go out to buy a new one. It comes equipped with a black deck, but includes an optional red deck as well make your scooter more customizable to your style. The wheels also have cool add-ons to give them a pop of color. The wheel inserts are really easy to apply and my son was excited to put his own touch on his new scooter! Once your child feels comfortable on the scooter, they can advance to the Y handlebars. However, Jace isn't quite there yet, but we're working on it!

 

When we finally went out to give this a test (or I should say, when Jace gave it a test), the scooter rolled effortlessly across the ground. It worked well on both our tile floors of the house and the rough cement outside on our driveway and sidewalk.  Overall, for $62.99 (or normally $69.99), this is an amazing price and well worth it. Jace has so much fun on his new scooter and has been 'scooting' around on it daily since we got it in. I definitely think it would make a great gift for a special little one in your life this year!
