I think the number one question that I get is "How can I get free toilet paper"? Because of the show Extreme Couponing and the rooms of toilet paper that many of the couponers had it is perceived that it is "easy" to get free paper products. Is it true you can get free toilet paper? In the past, it was easy to get free toilet paper. However shortly after I started stockpiling in early 2009 the free toilet paper train ended.  

There used to be a coupon that easily matched up and resulted in free or very cheap toilet paper. There was also a coupon that was available in some areas for a free roll of Marcal toilet tissue or paper towels. However, we are just not seeing FREE toilet paper and paper towels like we used to. I think that this has to be the number one question we get because if you are like me you hate paying for anything that "goes down the drain." However, it is something that it a necessity in life. So can you get free Toilet Paper? I am going to say most likely NO.  

However, what you can do is match up your available coupons to sales cycles and pay the least possible out of pocket. It really depends on if you are brand loyal or not. If you are NOT brand loyal then you can often get a roll or two or 12 of free or near-free toilet paper however, it is not often that you can stockpile like it was possible in the past.
