Imagine this: You’re sitting on beach, slightly warm sand under your body as you lay out, your eyes closed. You feel the heat of the sun’s rays encompass you, and on the back of your lids, colors dance. Breathing in the air, you smell the scent of sunscreen, the ocean breeze, and freshly cut fruit. Upon opening your eyes, you slowly become reacquainted with your surrounding, and reach to the right of you to grab your coco loco drink. Life is good.
…So, this may just be a daydream. Albeit, a very good one. Yet, we have the solution for when your mind wanders to the wonders of a beach vacation you aren’t able to take. That solution? A simple Coconut Smoothie. Simple, being the first keyword. Coconut, being the second.
This creamy, tropical smoothie is an on-the-go tropical vacation in a cup. It’s filled with ingredients that on their own taste great, but when they come together, form a crave-worthy drink.
The texture of the smoothie comes from the mix of blueberries, protein powder, and milk. The taste of coconut is thanks to the added coconut water. And the slightly spicy after taste comes from the cinnamon powder.
Irresistibly yummy.
SIMPLE COCONUT SMOOTHIE
- 1/2 Cup Blueberries
- 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon Powder
- 2 tbsp. Chia Seeds
- 1 cup Almond Milk, or Regular
- 1/4 cup Coconut Water
- 1 Scoop Pea Protein Powder
