These markers are AMAZING! They are about the size of a standard pen in regards to height and width. So they're a lot easier to store and use compared to the original paint markers I remember from years ago. Also, while you still have to 'pump' these markers to get the ink going to use, it does not take nearly as long as the originals I remember as a kid. I remember with the original style I would have to pump the pen for what felt like forever to get that paint/ink flowing. With these, it took just a couple of pumps and they were ready to go.
I started off on a scrap piece of paper doodling my name to test the pens out. The ink/paint flowed smoothly and was effortless to use. As someone who enjoys a nicely decorated planner, I moved on to doodling on some pages. The pages of my planner are standard - not super thin, but not thick at all, either. I was very pleased I was able to write and doodle without the paint leaking through the page.
